About Us
Established in 1993, Excel Vending is Scotland’s leading independent vending and reverse vending solutions provider. Working with the world’s leading vending equipment manufacturers, we now supply many of the country’s public health, higher education and private sector organisations.
Commitment
We are committed to responsible vending while providing our customers with the products they want. For example, healthy choices are now a significant consideration, so the Excel Healthier range is a collection of ethically sourced products, mostly fairtrade or organic. They’re all free from artificial ingredients with many also free from added sugars.
The Excel Healthier range also contains tasty gluten-free products across savoury, snacking and hot meal options.
As part of our commitment to excellent vending, we are happy to hold tasting sessions at your premises to gauge interest in these brands and products before they go into the machines.
Excel Vending is also proud to offer Fairtrade products. The Fairtrade system provides farmers and producers with a guarantee of a minimum price which covers the cost of sustainable production of their product. The initiative benefits more than 7.5 Million people across 59 developing countries, offering stability and rewarding sustainable production practices. As well as coffee and tea producers, Fairtrade also covers cocoa and sugar products as well as fresh fruit and fruit juices.
This is all part of our commitment to responsible vending.
Corporate Social Responsibility
At Excel Vending, we take our corporate social responsibility incredibly seriously. Through various initiatives, we’re able to help those who are in most need. Due to the business in which we operate, we’ve been able to include specific products.
Also, we continually stock our vending machines with fairtrade products, ensuring that those who create them see the returns for their labours.
It’s not all about the products we stock though. We know we also have a responsibility to the communities in which we operate. We support many local and national charities on an ongoing basis. Currently, we are delighted to be supporting Kilbryde Hospice, St Andrew’s Hospice, The Kiltwalk, The Les Hoey Foundation, Comic Relief and The Point Foundation. Over and above our regular giving, we also support many local charitable events throughout the year.
Awards & Accreditation
We are committed to quality, and we have worked hard to secure various accreditations that reinforce the standards we achieve daily. We currently have ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditation. We also have full Alcumus SafeContractor accreditation ensuring we always achieve the highest health and safety standards.
We are also proud of the awards we have won over the years. While they are welcome public recognition, they are also rewarding for our staff who work hard to provide the level of customer service enjoyed by our customers.
